About 15% of adults worldwide currently suffer from tinnitus (about 30% by 2050) or have recently experienced tinnitus. This can be both acute and chronic.
Chronic tinnitus
Approximately 10% of adults worldwide currently suffer from chronic tinnitus. Chronic tinnitus is when it has lasted for at least 3 months.
Age distribution
About 24% of seniors (65 years and older) worldwide suffer from tinnitus. About 10% of younger adults (between 18 and 44 years) worldwide have tinnitus.
ForgTin® works through gentle continuous pressure stimulation on specific areas around the ear. Similar to a very gentle acupressure, the pressure stimulation of the following effective areas can lead to a reduction of jaw and neck tension and to a reduction of stress.
Musculus Auricularis Superior
Musculus Auricularis Posterior
Impulse area parasympathetic nervous system
By changing the false signals sent by problems from the jaw and neck muscles via the nerve pathways to the brain stem, tinnitus can be permanently reduced and even completely “forgotten”.
This is where the name “ForgTin®” for “forget tinnitus” comes from.
Scientifically evaluated
A scientific study of the medical university of Regensburg (2021) has shown that the treatment with ForgTin® can be very effective for tinnitus.
In 39% of the test subjects there was a reduction in tinnitus loudness of at least 50% after 6 weeks.
In 60% of the test subjects there was a reduction of the tinnitus volume by at least 50% after 12 weeks.
In 21% of the test subjects the tinnitus disappeared completely after 12 weeks.
In about 50% of tinnitus sufferers, tinnitus can be triggered by neck tension. ForgTin® can relieve neck tension by stimulating the musculus auricularis posterior. Thus, tinnitus can be reduced in the long term.
Reduction of jaw tension
In about 30% of tinnitus sufferers, tinnitus can be triggered by jaw tension. ForgTin® can relieve jaw tension by stimulating the musculus auricularis superior. Thus, tinnitus can be reduced in the long term.
Reduction of stress and strain
Stress and emotional strain in professional and private life can trigger or intensify tinnitus in many sufferers. ForgTin® can reduce stress by stimulating the impulse area parasympathetic nervous system (part of the vegetative nervous system). Thus, tinnitus can be reduced sustainably.
